Graduates of this program can work in a variety of fields, including fundamental and applied research in photonics and optical informatics. They may also find employment opportunities in the development of devices and systems of microwave photonics, as well as in the design and implementation of materials, systems, methods, and technologies for optical transfer, transformation, and storage of information. Additionally, graduates with a background in nanophotonics may find opportunities in the development of systems based on nano-scale structures.

Am I eligible to study on your degree programs with my current education?
For preliminary evaluation of your documents you need to submit the following set:
  • ID (Passport)
  • Degree Certificate
  • Transcript
Once you have obtained a conditional acceptance letter you need to start preparing the application set:
  • Passport scan copy with the notarised translation to Russian language.
  • High School Certificate or Previous Degree Diploma with the notarised translation to Russian language.
  • Transcript of Records with the notarised translation to Russian language.
  • Medical Certificate that confirms no contra-indications for studying in Russia + Negative AIDS/HIV test certificate issued by an official healthcare authority of your country.
  • Photo in passport-format.
This set of documents is required in order to register an applicant for entrance examinations.

We start considering new applications and processing the documents in June, 2025.
Examination dates are determined for each subject specifically and depends on the program level and major. Make sure to contact our admission officers to learn the schedule of the entrance exams for your program.
Full admission set with all necessary documents and notarised translations shall be submitted no later than August 20, 2025.
