The program is foused on training specialists in the interdisciplinary field of activities related to the development of new nanomaterials and biomedicine technologies, medical methods for early diagnosis and targeted treatment of socially dangerous diseases.
Career opportunities
The scope of professional activities of graduates includes:
- use oflaser interaction with human tissues and organs,
- production of nanomaterials and devices for photodynamic therapyand for treatment ofhyperthermia,
- design oflaser systems and nano-biosystems for obtaining nanomaterials,
- development oftechnologies aimed at evaluating biomedical diagnostic images.
Learning outcomes:
- ability to use knowledge of thefunctioningprinciples of various bio-visualization methods for the design and development of new nanomaterials and technologies for biomedicine;
- ability to apply the principles of nanotechnology for the development of newmedicines;
- ability toprocessinitial data; select and confirm scientific, technical and organizational solutions in the field of biomedical nanotechnology design; draw up relevant documentation.
