Experimental Research and Simulation of Fundamental Interactions
14.03.02 Nuclear Physics and Engineering
The program introduces students to key topics in physics of fundamental interactions. The curriculum consists of courses in general physics and mathematics, as well as physics of fundamental interactions of elementary particles and nuclei. It also includes mathematical, computer, and electronic technologies for physical experiments, with a special focus on space research and mathematical simulations, particularly for experiments at accelerators and colliders.

Graduates can explore career opportunities in various fields such as elementary particles and plasma, gas and condensed states of matter, lasers and their applications, charged particle accelerators, modern electronic circuitry, electronic systems of nuclear and physical installations, automated control systems of nuclear and physical installations, as well as the development and utilization of devices and installations for radiation registration, and separation of isotopic and molecular mixtures.

Medical Certificate that confirms no contra-indications for studying in Russia + Negative AIDS/HIV test certificate issued by an official healthcare authority of your country.

We start considering new applications and processing the documents in June, 2025. Examination dates are determined for each subject specifically and depends on the program level and major. Make sure to contact our admission officers to learn the schedule of the entrance exams for your program. Full admission set with all necessary documents and notarised translations shall be submitted no later than August 10, 2025.
