Program Description

Quantum metrology utilizes quantum effects and quantum mechanics in enhancing and limiting measurement precision. There is currently a high demand for accuracy, as industry solutions and applications require increased accuracy and product quality. Objective of the program is the training ofmetrologists with fundamental physical and technical knowledge in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements required for the implementation of modern metrological tasks.  The professional activity of graduates includes research, design, production and technological, organizational and managerial activities in the fieldof metrological support. The main feature of theprogram is a fundamental physical, mathematical and engineering training, which allows students to learn the basic fundamental and special disciplines.  The program provides in-depth training in the field of condensed matter physics, nanostructure physics, quantum physics, design of devices and installations for metrological support of physical measurements.
